Florida's First Offical Drone Racing Park is now open

Good news for our Florida peps, Citrus County Florida has made the first official Drone racing park. County Commissioner Jimmie Smith has made it official that the park located in east of Lecanto High school is now Florida's first and only dedicated Drone Racing Park.

This park is located in Citrus County and is about 1 hour west of Orlando and about 1 hour North of Tampa Bay. The park is already host to a local MultiGP Chapter Citrus Drone Racing. If you are in the central Florida area make sure you check out Citrus Drone Racing on MultiGP or join the Citrus Drone Racing facebook group for more info.

We caught up to some fellow FPV pilots to see what they had to say about the first state owned drone racing park and the positive overwhelming response has been crazy. Most cant wait to fly there and the club says they hope to hold some night races under the lights. Get your led race quads ready and stay out of the heat.

Oh and by the way yes this park is the same location that we filmed our promo video. You really cant complain when you have a awesome state park in your backyard to throw down some races or freestyle with some friends. Come and check it out and make sure you bring your drone!
